Welcome to CopperSteam!

I design and fabricate custom industrial art and furnishings; things like tube amplifiers, lighting fixtures, furniture, and even some artsy-fartsy sculptural pieces and other assorted accoutrement from time to time. Some of it is one-of-a-kind artwork, some of it is limited-edition and numbered. All of it is hand built, and of the highest quality.

I work primarily in what is commonly known as the Steampunk genre, which is a pretty large umbrella term for all sorts of things these days. Personally I think I tend to skew more towards the Industrial or even Dieselpunk side of things, but since Steampunk is the term most people understand when I’m trying to describe what it is that I do, I’ll more often than not just leave it at that. Industrial Steampunk Art is as close as I can come to summing it up quickly.

I’ve also been known to wax poetic about life, drinking dark rum, living on islands, and building things over in the CopperSteam blog. Swing by and check it out, I post lots of work-in-progress articles there, and if you’re like me and love to see how things go together, you may get a kick out of it. So make yourself at home, pour yourself a libation, and have a poke around. There’s always something interesting going on around here.

By all means drop me a line on the old telegraph if you have any questions, or just want to say hi. I always enjoy hearing from fellow industrial and steampunk art enthusiasts and builders. You can also follow me on Facebook or Twitter!
